"This is My Body given up for you." Luke 22:19
Who am I? How should I live? These two questions have been asked by every person at one time or another. This retreat will answer these two questions by diving into John Paul II's life-changing teaching known as the "Theology of the Body."
These principles will be applied to the Church's teaching on love and life issues such as marriage, procreation, gender, and euthanasia as well as its connection to Jesus' Eucharistic sacrifice. You will learn the "why" behind the "what" of these teachings. Far from being oppressive or discriminatory, living these truths will truly set you free!
Ultimately you will experience how making a gift of yourself - similar to how Jesus does in the Eucharist - is the key to living a holy, purposeful, and joy-filled life. You were created for communion and are designed for the Divine! Come experience the beauty of God's plan for your life!
This retreat will be facilitated by Tim Mosser, Respecet Lire Director for the Fargo Diocese.
