About the Workshop

This workshop be held at St. Paul Newman Center in Fargo, May 17-22, 2024. It will include the creation of one icon; The Mother of God. You will learn about icons and the ancient process of painting or writing an icon. No art experience is necessary. This workshop will be taught by Christine Jentz from Lumen Christi Art. Christine is a professional iconographer with many years of training. She has done workshops for beginners and advanced students around the midwest. You can see her work at www.lumenchristiart.com
To keep the price down, no food or housing will be provided. You may bring your own lunch or purchase sandwhiches/salads at the Newman Coffee Bar.

  Cancellation: If the Diocese of Fargo cancels the retreat due to unforeseeable circumstances, the Diocese will issue a full refund. If you need to cancel and there is no one to take your spot, $250 will be retained.
