40 Days for Life North Dakota September 22 – October 31, 2010 THE CAMPAIGN 40 Days for Life North Dakota is a community-based campaign that draws attention to the evil of abortion through a three-point program:
40 Days for Life ND takes a determined, peaceful approach to showing local communities the consequences of abortion in their own neighborhoods, for their own friends and families. It puts into action a desire to cooperate with God in the carrying out of His plan for the end of abortion in North Dakota and America. THE CALL: Sept. 22 – Oct. 31 Being involved in the campaign against abortion is vital. The first step that everyone can take is to begin with prayer and fasting. You can also be involved by attending a round-the-clock prayer vigil outside the Red River Women’s Clinic, 512 1st Avenue North, Fargo. Finally, you can be involved in community outreach. During 40 Days for Life, the prolife message is proactively taken to every corner of our community. Go to: www.40daysforlifend.com to learn how you can help in this effort. Representatives from area churches also pray at the abortion facility every Wednesday, the day when most abortions take place in Fargo. If you would like to take part in this weekly vigilance, go to the 40 Days for Life North Dakota website for more information.
With God’s help, this
effort could mark the beginning of the end of abortion in America.

John Paul II acknowledged, "We are
facing an enormous and dramatic clash between good and evil, death and life, the
'culture of death' and the 'culture of life.' We find ourselves not only 'faced
with' but necessarily 'in the midst of' this conflict: We are all involved and
we all share in it, with the inescapable responsibility of choosing to be
unconditionally pro-life" (Evangelium Vitae, No. 28). He calls us as Catholics,
true to the faith we have received, to be "unconditionally pro-life" and to
accept this responsibility no matter what the cost.
“Every human life, from the moment of
conception until death, is sacred
